Stone & Brick Cladding

What is stone & brick cladding?

Cladding is slips of real stone and brick which can be bonded and fixed to most surfaces.  They are a great way of giving your home a new look.

Preparation

Existing render, paint work is removed from surfaces in which cladding will be applied.  Making sure all surfaces are free from dirt and dust.

Application

A coat of special epoxy resin is applied to the surface by trowel.  Then depending on your choice of stone or brick is then pressed firmly into the bonding coat in a traditional or scattered pattern.  It is then left to cure for 24 hours.  Once cured it can be pointed using a lime based mortar.  The pointing can be a choice of traditional, bucket handle or weatherstruck finish.
